Synology DS 918+ Max Turbo Speed?

... what does the "Max Turbo Speed" mean?
Afaik there is just the Clock Speed, can I run the Synology in turbo mode or clock it to 2,3 Ghz ...?

It just means, if an application demand high CPU @ 1.5GHz for a period of time it will automatically jump to 2.3GHz max!

Marketing crap really thinking you are really getting a faster processor than what you are, but you are not!

Not really suitable for virtualisation, and very cheap!

Hence why they find their way in cheap Synology NAS!
