I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello and Good Evening Joe,

Thank you for the links.  Seeing that the 2017 version of the 1040EZ Publication and Form are in draft mode, I am wondering if I can use your submitted link to access them when they are ready for user completion.

Hi George,
I'm pretty sure that the IRS will make the "standard" links point to the 2017 docs as soon as they're out of "draft" mode and considered to be "official". In other words, although https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040ez.pdf and https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040ez.pdf currently point to the 2016 docs, when the 2017 docs are in final status, those same links will point to the 2017 docs. Of course, that's just a guess on my part and the IRS could decide to use different URLs, but no matter what, you'll be able to navigate to the 2017 forms from the IRS home page. Regards, Joe
