Recover Deleted Item into PST


I would like to get some help for recovering deleted item into PST, Is there any powershell cmdlet to export deleted item into PST for a specific mailbox users?

Check the days that Exchange keeps the deleted emails from deleted items.
If you cannot find the appropriate command for Exchange Management Shell (I never heard that you could use cmdlet for PST. Usually it works with the server database), you can always do it from outlook itself.

                   [-Credentials <PSCredential>]
                   [-Username <string> -Password <string> [-Domain <string>]]
                   [-Impersonate <bool>]
                   [-EwsUrl <string>]
                   [-EWSManagedApiPath <string>]

-Mailbox : Mailbox SMTP email address
 -Credentials: can be used to pass credentials into the script (as obtained using Get-Credential)
 -Username : Username for the account being used to connect to EWS (if not specified, current user is assumed)
 -Password : Password for the specified user (required if username specified)
 -Domain : If specified, used for authentication (not required even if username specified)
 -Impersonate : Include this switch to use impersonation.
 -EwsUrl : Forces a particular EWS URl (otherwise autodiscover is used, which is recommended)
 -EWSManagedApiPath : Full path to the EWS Managed API (if not specified, default paths are searched - any version should work)
 -IgnoreSSLCertificate: If present, invalid (e.g. self-certified) certificates will be accepted
 -AllowInsecureRedirection: this affects autodiscover only

If you want to run the script against your mailboxes, use an impersonation account and then list down all the mailboxes in a file that can be used by PowerShell to align the data into the script.

Deleted items will get restored to standard folders based in their type. When anything gets deleted, there isn't any information stored, for example, to which folder was the item was added prior to getting deleted. So, it isn't possible to restore to the similar folder. You will find emails getting restored in your inbox.

Nick's suggestion only configures the deleted item retention, I don't think it will bring anything back. If the items are in the "deleted items" folder, you should still be able to move them back.

If they were permanently deleted when deleted items was emptied, there may not be much you can do. There are some third party tools such as that claim to be able to help as well.

If the messages came from Exchange, the other option is to see if they can restore from Exchange backup.
