Help! Pagination for a 200+ page manuscript all messed up.
I can't simply undo formatting because I can't risk losing my formatted text.
How do I undo and redo page numbers correctly without affecting all my formatted text?
Could I eliminate header and footer and then plug in new page numbers?  I'm desperate.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

if you have page numbers in footer or header, double-click the footer or header and clean the page number. Then insert the page number again.
If you want more help I am available online for some time now and can assist you remotely.

By the way, let me know if you know how to number pages automatically?
