"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you can simply create your own .config (or .xml) file and specify same attributes for different forms, like:

myconf.config:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<forms>
  <form>
	<id>Form1</id>
	<yourSettings>bla bla..</yourSettings>
  </form>
  <form>
	<id>Form2</id>
	<yourSettings>bla bla..</yourSettings>
  </form>
  <form>
	<id>FormN</id>
	<yourSettings>bla bla..</yourSettings>
  </form>
</forms>

An alternative is to store the settings in the registry with a key (location) you generate yourself.  That would allow you to simply store settings on a per person basis as well as a an overall.  Using a file is more awkward, but still possible, for individual settings.
