Does anybody know of a complete dismantling guide for iPad 5th Generation A1822 iPads?

I accessed iFixit website, formymobile.co.uk, repairuniverse.com, and techrepublic.com and can't find any complete guide.  My objective is to replace the charging port in an A1822 iPad.  I have the part, but no guide.   Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need soldering skill before you can replace the charging port for iPad (2017).

It is a difficult task which is unlikely to be performed by novice. You can refer to the YouTube video link below for the same task for iPad Air. iPad (2017) is having the nearly the same circuit board design with iPad Air.

If I were you, I will immediately go to local iPad repair shops to ask their technicians to do the job.

Those surface mount boards are done in a kiln with a machine placing all the parts.  The parts are too small for even a skilled solderer to easily use a soldering iron to put back.  You're going to have to spend a lot of time and care if you manually attempt to solder that back, but it can be done.  Some people use a heat gun with a smaller nozzle to concentrate the heat.

Since it's a newer generation iPad, you may have to be the first to open one, take pictures and upload it to one of those sites.  The procedure should be very similar to the other iPads, just the possible location of some parts may be different.
