Configure new tab page default behavior missing from GPMC

Hi,

My problem is that I want to configure new tab to open our home page in GPO, not GPP.

The setting described in the folloing blog : https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/stephenrose/2010/07/13/understanding-group-policy-settings-in-internet-explorer-8/ is not present in my GPO console.

I have copied the latest administrative template from Windows 10 1703 computer.

Did Microsoft remove this setting in the latest release of Windows?

Could someone help to resolve this problem?

Thank you

Most internet explorer settings were removed in windows 8.1.1 so this isn't really new behavior. New versions of IE ignored the settings anyways, even if you find an old enough version of windows to create then. IE8 is long since out of support.

Ajay, I think you answer the wrong question.

So, there is no way to force a new tab creation to display a primary home page within the GPO settings?
I test the GPP, it worked, but there is no way to lock the Tabs settings and the user can change the behavior of new tab. Of course, it come back to the GPP settings at next GPO sync, but the fact they can change it will bring lost of time to users and open ticket to Help Desk.

Anyway to disable the Tabs button in General section of Internet Option?
