Increase performance of google earth pro

I had this question after viewing sim tower 25 years later.

How can I increase performance of google earth.

I am using google earth pro on windows 10.

Google Earth Pro
7.3.0.3832 (32-bit)
Build Date

Renderer
OpenGL
Operating System
Microsoft Windows (6.2.9200.0)

Is this the best version.
If I get a better internet connection or a high performance desktop; will there be a noticeable difference?

Will it be like I am actually in the town that I am witnessing?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'd start with the performance monitor when using Google Earth Pro - RAM, CPU, network load and GPU load.
A common problem with Google Earth is long loading times due to having a lot of stuff in your ‘My Places’.

Suggestions:
[1] If running slowly then uncheck some of the layers and your saved places.

[2] Not enough memory, may cause slow down.

[3] Computer system needs cleaning, by using microsoft 'Disk Cleanup' feature on
your computer.

[4]Also you might try clearing the Cache file:
Log on Google Earth > On Google Earth Toolbar > Click Tools > Click Options > Click Tools > Click Cache Tab
Clear Memory Cache File '&' Clear Disk Cache File.

From another discussion:
Hi, a large My Places file can slow down performance.  If there are a lot of items in My Places in the Places panel on the left, try saving some of them outside Google Earth (right click, save as .kmz), check that they open correctly, then delete them from the Places panel.

If you don't have a non-mouse device (joystick, space navigator etc) connected to the computer, make sure that the option to enable a non-mouse controller is not checked in Tools - Options - Navigation tab.  In my experience, that can dramatically slow down performance.

Try clearing the cache, and possibly the other steps here.

Also if you are using Wi-Fi, try to switch to LAN cable.
