SCCM 1706 collections

I have a PowerShell script that I have used many times to add devices from a text file  to a device collection in SCCM.  I have a txt file with 29 computers but only 10 are showing in member count.  If I look at the direct connections and count them then there are 29 devices.  I have deployed to this collection but my reports are only listing the 10 devices.  I have updated the collection many times to no avail.  Is there something I can do to rectify the collection count?

Kind Regards,

Nigel

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello,

One thought off the top of my head - what is your limiting collection set to on the collection?  Is it set to something that not all your devices would be in?

Hi it is set to 'All desktops and Laptops'.  The problem is the devices are all shown in direct membership but not included in the count (therefore not getting the deployment assignment).

Ok.  Just to be sure, if you go to the 'All Desktops and Laptops' collection, can you see all the devices in there?  Also, do the devices that are missing have the CM Client installed?

Very unusual.  I came in this morning and now all the devices are in the collection.  This may be due to the fact that I added them not from the Primary or Central directly, but using the client tool on the PC.
