Folder Redirection policy on Server 2012 Essentials

Someone previously setup folder redirection on this server. I have looked in the Group Policy editor and have not been able to locate a policy for folder redirection. Folder redirection is implemented and working for sure.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The essentials dashboard just creates a group policy in the background. So if someone set it up and didn't delete it, the policy is there. Guaranteed.

Now, one caveat. What I said...if it didn't get deleted!    If a folder redirection policy *was* deleted, existing machines with user profiles that logged in while the policy existed will continue to redirect to the location specified in the policy. Deleting the policy does *NOT* revert this.  But new users would not redirect.   So when you say "folder redirection is working for sure" all depends on what exactly you tested.  If creating a new user and logging redirects then the policy exists.  If new users *don't* redirect then it is possible someone deleted the policy previously.

But a group policy did exist at one time. Nothing unique to essentials there.
