.Net frame work issue.

I have installed an application that requires .Net Framework 4.0 or above and .Net framework 4.6 is already installed yet when i try to launch that application it asks to install .Net framework 4.0 or above. FYI- Operating System Windows 7 32 bit

Get .NET Framework Setup Verifier

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Install it and run it. Run through all .NET versions it finds and let it make repairs.

When done, close out, run Windows Updates and restart the computer.

Please let us know.

Please post a screenshot of this. i would like to see if it is a standard MS prompt or custom prompt. The standard prompt also redirects to a website
According to  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Framework v4.6 replaces v4.0 so should not be issue
it could be a programmers installer error that actually searches for .net 4.0 and not =>4.0
