Looking for Dual-Bay Hard Drive Docking Station

As a technician in some cases I need to access a hard drive externally, so I am looking for a USB Hard Drive Docking Station. there is lot of them on the market but looking for one that has the best capabilities of reading (even troubled hard drives to the best possible), also Dual-Bay with Offline Clone [reliable]. and if available (not sure if there is) from a larger size drive to a smaller size [as long the date is less than the target drive].

Any recommendations from experience?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What about a USB hub?  I use these. You can plug in a couple of USB enclosures holding drives.  I find this better than a docking station overall.

OP wants features such as Offline Clone which a simple hub won't have

You can use the on-board USB connector for the Clone. I have done this.

Offline, as in no computer attached

Offline, as in no computer attached    A docking station as requested is always attached to a computer so I was thinking of this part

I've used an Aleratec drive duplicator with very few problems (I had a defective duplicator, which the manufacturer did send a replacement under warranty). I don't believe it will do is clone to a smaller drive. I forget how well it clones bad drives, as I haven't used mine as much as I used to.

I currently have a Power dock and for use as a external drive it's great but not for offline cloning. what I am mainly looking now for is one to do a good job on offline cloning

I've used a Kingwin without issues, just not that exact one. The Aleratec I know does a pretty good job, I just don't remember for the case of cloning to smaller drives, but I believe their copying is based on partition size (so you can at least shrink a partition before doing the duplication).

The particular unit that you provided the link for will not let you clone to a small drive. I looked at the features on this page: http://www.kingwin.com/storage/docking-stations/pd-2537u3-p/
