Storage Spaces Direct Says not Enough Reserve Capacity

I found a health alert on our small S2D cluster saying there was not enough reserve capacity on the Cluster.  We have a two node storage spaces direct cluster with 4 1.6TB SSD's per server for a total of  about 11gigs total when I set up the cluster for mirrored pool there was only about 6gig usable which I split between the two servers I have two 2.7gig CSV's one has 915GB free the other has 1.95TB free. Does anyone know what I am missing here?

If you lose a disk there won't be enough disk capacity left for Storage Spaces to continue to mirror everything until you replace that failed disk.

So what you saying disk 4 in each server A disks 1 and 2 are mirrored to Server B disks 3 and 4 and Server B disks 1 and 2 are mirrored to Server A disks 3 and 4 basically so the reserve capacity has to come from disks 1 and 2 which would be each server CSV.  Do you know how much the reserve would be?  The S2D calculator I used before is no longer available

I think adding one disk to each server/poo; would stop you getting the warning, it's a bit like a traditional RAID 10 plus hot spare - you still have RAID10 but no spare available. The best thing to do is probably ignore it. There are a couple of Storage Spaces experts at EE who may know better than me if you wait a while.
