Servers Not Registering with WSUS

We have several servers that are pulling the GPO set for getting updates from our WSUS server. Though, they are not registering. I cannot see them in the Servers target list. This is also specified in the GPO. I ran a GPRESULT, and the GPO successfully applied. This also reflects in the registry of each server.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Were these servers set up via some method of cloning, or copying VMs? WSUS clients identify themselves with a GUID, sometimes imaging can end up with several machines all having the same GUID. Thus, they will all be considered the same machine, and will only show once in WSUS console, with the status of the last machine to check in. Below are instructions on how to get a new GUID.

Did you specify the port within the WSUS config? Usually 80 or 8530
