MS Access Report Currency Format not Working As it Should

I have a form with a unbound text box called "txtTotalDue" that holds a Currency Value. Property sheet is set up with Format Currency and decimal Auto.

I have a query and in this query I have a field called "TotalDue". It is set up like so:
TotalDue: [Forms]![frmCashPayment]![txtTotalDue]

This query field will not give me the format option to change it.

Finally I have a report that has a text box that has the query field "TotalDue" as it's control source.

On my Report it will not show it as currency no matter what I do and it also keeps showing a decimal out of whack. I have evn tried to change decimal point to "2" but no luck.

I have tried Format currency in the property sheet and I have tried $#,###.00;-$#,###.00;$0.00 in the format box. I have tried several different ways but nothing seems to work.

It shows perfectly on my form but not in my query or my report

Thank you for the help.
