Aspire Z3-615 Touch screen stopped working
Hi i have an Aspire Z3-615 and after the latest windows 10 1709 update the touch screen is no longer working. tried reinstalling drivers. no luck. it is not even displayed in the device manager. Only thing in device manager is "Unknown USB device(Device descriptor requested failed)" under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Done sfc scannow as well as DISM commands. Just cannot get it working? please advise
Use System restore to go back.
Also I would check if the touchscreen isn't locked by Windows settings or 3rd party app (some kind of Acer Tool or so).
What does Event Log say?

did the windows repair. no luck. no system restore points available before issue occurred. no errors in event log relating to touch screen
In that case I am affraid your touchscreen is somehow damaged and you should take it to experts.
But keep in mind you this will not be cheap at all.
Maybe you shoul consider buying a new one.

I sorted out the issue
Go to the Media Creation Link
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Windows 10 is running, so click on the Download button (not Upgrade Button, select Open (Run) but NOT Save. Allow the program to run. Allow drivers to update. Then select Keep Everything
If that does not work, contact Aspire Support for new drivers.
