USA based alternative to LogMeIn

I need to be able to remote start a few PC's and LMI works great for that, but the pricing is obscene.  Does anyone know of a USA based company to replaced LMI?  USA based because I am not comfortable with foreign companies having access to our data.

I have 3 users that use LMI to log onto machines.
I use it for Remote start of one machine.

Those are the only features I need.

You can look at ScreenConnect - you can self host or pay for hosted. www.screenconnect.com

I'll check into that one.

Do you know anything about Splashtop, and can you tell if they are USA based?

I've heard of splashtop but don't know it.  Another option is SimpleHelp - they too can be self hosted.  (ScreenConnect used to have really good pricing... compared to LogMeIn it's great, but it's not what it was.  Unless SimpleHelp changed recently, it's still priced very reasonably and based on sessions if I remember correctly.

Just figured out Splashtop does not support Remote Start. They have a "Wake" feature, but it requires the machine only be in sleep mode, not fully shut down.

Do you know if SimpleHelp and/or ScreenConnect have the "Startup" feature like LMI?  The machine I have to start up every morning really does have to be shut down each night.

Not sure how RipMeOff would handle remote start... I assumed it would be a Wake on LAN thing and that SHOULD be available in ScreenConnect (I don't find any remote wake tool works well so I don't rely on them).  Not sure about SimpleHelp.  (I have woken a system with screen connect, but don't know if it was sleeping or off at the time.)

As it turns out, Screen Connect does not have the ability to "Switch on" a machine that has been completely shut down.  Unfortunately looks like I have to re-up with LMI, again.
