Lost Iphone

My daughter informed me this morning that she is unable to locate her iphone 4s.  When I log into Find My Iphone it shows me that her phone is offline.  I am guessing her battery is dead.  Is there anyway to see a log of where it has been recently, so that I can see if she left it at her grandparents or maybe at a friends house.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The way you state this, no.  If you had set up Find my Phone, that would help if the phone is on.

If a friend / grandparent finds it, they likely will return it. You need to check around and see if these people have it.

Otherwise time for a new phone.

The above link is just Pablum for a phone that is running. If dead or off, then there is not much hope.

If you enabled the "Find My Friends" app, it will generally show the last location reported for the friend. It's a default app on the phone, so I'd check that.

I'd go into icloud.com asap and set the phone into lost mode and specify that you should be notified when it is found:
icloud find my iphone
