Read only Group Policy Object

Hi, I would like gives read access "Group Policy Object" to helpdesk per say, what is the easier way to give them read access top level group policy object and down.. do I need to go through delegation ? I'm looking for KB to give read access so I want to make sure I won't make any mistake since I don't have a lab to test it.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

by default all authenticated users group has read access to all GPOs

you can grant "link GPO" rights delegation to group / user if wanted to

more even you can grant group / user modify rights to specific GPO as well through delegation

Not just that, it is required after deploying MS16-072/KB3163622
