How to resolve probelm related to restoring of database backup in sql server 2016,backup and restore are of same version.

Can you provide more information and some screen shoots so we know how are you trying to restore the database?

through SSMS,restore database from device

I was expecting that. You're having some issue with your SSMS. Are you using the last version of the SSMS?
Anyway, you can try to open a new query window and run the RESTORE command.
