Hi Team,

MS sql server is showing CPU 98% and Memory 99%. This is sql server 2016.

I didn't some testing. When i disable application user, the cpu and memory is coming down to just 5-10%, but at the moment when i enable applicaiton user, within 5-10 mins CPU and going to 99%. when when i run SP_who2, i found lot of blocking.
Please go thourgh the screenhot and suggest us, how to resolve.

Did you fry what happens if you run a single app server only? It looks like you are running a massive parallel threading software, working in a lot of different databasesy and you won't be able to drill down to the basic reason unless you reduce complexity (i.e. run only one process, and monitor, then add more processes).

For blocking, either multiple sessions access and change the same resource (table), or you have parallel use of indexes enabled (and then it's a "performance improvement" measure going south for you).

That's a similar behaviour when you're having a memory bottleneck. How much memory the Server has and how much is reserved for SQL Server? Can you add more RAM?

This server contains total 128 GB.

Please find the screen shot  for sql server memory.

How big is your database or databases?
Can you capture a couple of long running queries so we can analyze them for you?
