Linux Appliance and Meltdown spectra

I was given the responsibilities to patch some Unix (centos, Linux etc) appliances along with windows server. These are third party software vendor's appliances as well as our centos servers.
Could someone give me some help on the Linux appliances?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In addition to the above, you need to contact your Linux Support Forum to see if patches for your distribution have been issued.

Current Windows operating systems were all patched a while ago so just make sure Windows machines are all up to date.
