I have be asked to move data dated before 2004.  Is there a easy way of doing this?  Without going through each folder, sorting by created date and then moving.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use robocopy with the MINAGE switch.

For example if you want to move files which are created before 31st dec 2014 you would do something like...

robocopy /move source destinnation *.* /minage:20141231

In addition to comment above you can add "/L /LOG:file'' switches at first. It will only log files to the log file without moving anything.
You can examine the log later on and check what exactly will be moved around .
