How do I disable IE Enhanced Security Configuration on a Windows Server 2012?

I'm trying to run Windows Update but it keeps failing.   I attempted to bypass the update app and was going to download the specific KB file to do the update, but I can't get to the internet at all from the server.   I can get to the interest from the workstation that connected to this domain, but not the server.  I suppose I could copy it to a USB and install it that way, but there are at least 100 updates that need to be done.

When launching IE on the server....  Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Open server manager and navigate to the Local server.

In the top box on the right side there is a line for IE Enhanced security.  you can toggle it from there

After launching the Server Manager, clicking on LOCAL SERVER, along the top on the right side there are the following icons and wording:

'refresh' icon, 'notifications' icon, 'Manage', Tools, View, and Help.

I don't see anything for IE Enhanced Security Settings.   Running Windows Server 2012 Standard.  Looks like updates haven't been done since July 2017.

IE on W2012 automatically trusts the urls involved in updating. Sounds like the server is unable to connect to the internet. Can you ping 8.8.8.8 from the server? If not, check the Default Gateway settings. If you can, check your DNS settings.
Awesome!   Found it and turned it off.   Now to further troubleshoot why Windows Update is not working.   Thanks CES!
No problem pinging to 8.8.8.8 from the server.  Once I turned off Enhance Security I can get to google.com, but still get 'Failed Update' Error found:  Code 8024402C - Windows Update ran into a problem.
I created a new ticket.  :)
