ACCESS SQL SERVER ODBC RECORD LOCKED
Hi Folks,
When the user attempts to edit or delete a record in a linked SQL Server table they get the error:
The Microsoft Office Access database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time.
Initially I thought this was true (because another user was editing the same record) but, after creating a whole new set (FE and database) the problem remains, when there is only one user.
it is a 2007 Access database, and I have tried the BE on 2012 and 2017 SQL Server.
thanks for any input
