How can I sort two columns in Excel to match and keep the other columns data in order?

I have an inventory excel sheet that has been combined with 2 serial numbers. I need to sort them so that column F and H match up and keep all of the other cells with the column H data.

Attached is an example, F and H need to match up, but I need the info in the rest of the sheet to follow H.

I wear a lot of hats...

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Normally if you select the whole sheet, row content stays together.

Question, how will F and H match with the data being different?

Bill PrewCommented:
So, should columns A-E also "move" when you sort on F and H, or should they stay the same, since they might not relate.

It is controlled by what you select as the source for the sort.  If you select the whole sheet, and then chose columns F and H as the sort keys, then all columns will be reordered based on those key fields.  If you just want to move say columns F-O then only select those before starting the Sort operation.
