Windows 10 Professional VLA ????

Need some licensing help. I have a customer that purchases Windows 10 Professional. My understanding is that if I want to clone his computers every time he gets a new one is that I have to get him a single Windows 10 Professional Volume License because the only version you can legally clone is a Volume License. Is that correct?

Does anyone know the Microsoft part number of what I am looking for and the cheapest way to obtain it? (I guess I need to order something else along with it to make 5 points?)

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Correct, you need a SINGLE copy of Windows 10 Pro VL and the re-imaging rights will allow you to reload that VL copy onto any PC that comes with Windows 10 Pro OEM (NOT "HOME").

If you don't have an existing VL agreement, then you need to open one.  To open one, you need to order 5 items.  Not 5 copies of Windows 10 Pro, but 5 TOTAL items.  It's been a while since I had to do this - I used to order rental rights, but those seem to have been discontinued.  I believe the last time I did it, I ordered 4 copies of Identity Manager CALs at ROUGHLY $10 each.  Ask your VL vendor what the cheapest item you can order is to open a VL agreement along with the one copy of Windows 10 Pro.
