Moving Hyper-V VM to new Host

I have a 2012r2 Windows, hyper-V VM running on a dell r320 server that I am going to move it to a dell r720 server.  Can I simply export the VM from the r320 and import it on the r720, change the NIC and fire it up?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If the virtual switches are named the same on both hosts, you don't even have to change the NIC.  Export / Import will preserve everything.  If the Switch names don't match up, you'll be prompted to pick one.
