change to UEV

Hi Experts,

in our company we use roaming profiles for several years.
Now we switch to WIN10ENT slowly. All new users get WIN10ENT.

With roaming profiles we have some issues, when the user logs in with WIN10.
Can you show me ,step by step, how to configure and switch to UEV ?

What I have to do, that I can test it with a test user ?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'd start here

We looked at UEV a couple of months ago. I believe its not usable except for some very limited situations where you want to sync some settings between systems for just some applications.

- The syncing was slow, meaning if a user starts the application immediately after logon the settings were not yet replicated
- Creating templates for all required software wasn't feasible

We didn't dig further but decided to stay with roaming profiles
