vCenter 6.0 and vCenter 6.5 on the same network?

We are looking to test vSphere 6.5 for evaluating some of the new features.  We are currently running 6.0 but do not want to upgrade the entire test bed.

The configuration as it stands now is

ESXi 6.0 installed on four Super Micro Servers and three Dell Servers
ESXi1-ESXi3 (dell)
ESXi4-ESXi7 (sm)
NetApp SAN is providing the storage to all ESXi Servers.
EqualLogc SAN is providing the storage to the Dell Servers.
Nexus 48 Port 10g Switch.

Infrastructure is on 192.169.1.0/24.  This includes:

vCenter Server
ESXi Servers 1-7
Domain Controller
Horizon View Connection
Nexus Switch
Pfsense router

We will move the Dell r610 to vSphere ESXi 6.5 and have a new cluster.

The idea is to connect to use a zero client on 192.169.1.0/24 and  connect to a Windows VM and from there, launch a Web Browser to connect to the 6.5 vCenter.

Is this doable?

Can you use one DC and have a vCenter 6.0 and vCenter 6.5 on the same network?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you can have 2 vCenter instances at the same time though the host would only be managed by one vCenter instance
you also would need to have the 6.5 host connected to the 6.5 vCenter since vCenter needs to be the same version or higher than the ESX host

Yes. I assume DC = Domain Controller ?

You will need new additional licenses for 6.5, or you could use 60 Day Evaluation Licenses!
