Fillable PDF on iPhone

When I go to a web site that has a fillable PDF I am unable to fill in the form from the browser, I have to open it with Adobe to get to the fillable portions of the form.  One of my coworkers has an Android and is able to fill in the form within the browser, he is using Chrome.  I have tried both Safari and Chrome on the iPhone neither will allow me to fill in the form

I would like for everyone iPhone/Android to be able to do it the same way

How do I do that

From my understanding, you will need to download a separate app (such as Adobe Reader) to open the .pdf file and fill it in.

If you want to use fillable PDFs on iPhone, you'll have to download Adobe Reader or Adobe Fill & Sign. Export the PDF to these applications for fillable contents.

Bad News .. the Apple iOS system includes a pdf viewing engine in the operating system which is used by default by the browsers such as Safari/Chrome.  This is a "feature" of iOS to avoid you needing to install a PDF reader app but the downside is that Apple make it harder to use an alternative reader which supports from filling.
There is also NO feature on iOS to change the application used to open a specific filetype.

All you can do is install Adobe Reader on all the iOS devices and use the OPEN WITH feature to send the PDF from the browser to Adobe Reader and fill it in there.
