Best day and time to close Ebay sales?

I was once told that ending a sale on Sunday at 6PM PST was best for maximum prices on auctions. That meant it was 9PM EST and Sunday, the most people were browsing Ebay.

Is this true?

I find myself holding back a sale until that time each week, so I can end at the time, but this slows me down.

I have a laptop to sell, and wanted to hit the sweet spot on that.

So, I wanted to ask.

Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I typically end on Sunday night, 9:00 to 10:00 EST.  Not sure what current data is, but I know there were some statistics a couple of years ago where eBay disclosed that Sunday night (followed by Monday and Saturday nights) had the highest close rates.  Seems to make sense to me, you want to end the auction when the majority of people have a chance to get there last bids in, etc, and Sunday night makes sense.

I have found 10 day auctions work about the best for me (mind you I'm not a heavy seller, but for the few dozens I have done that seemed to work.  Short auctions (few days) would have to be on the weekend and even then may not get enough visibility.
