Migrating from IMAP to exchange

Hosting co said they can do this:

Will all the imap folders stay there so I can transfer emails to the new exchange folders ?

Should I transfer everything to a POP folder first and then migrate to exchange ?

Sorry, to clarify, your hosting company can perform the transfer?

If they can then you should retain the folder structure as well, but if you are concerned you may want to export the mailboxes to a PST first as a fallback option, assuming the environment is small enough to make this practical.
