New to selling wordpress sites

Hello, I am fairly new to creating WordPress sites, but I am working on a WordPress site and I have a landing page up to avoid the site going live yet. But my question what is a good option to allow my customer to view the site but not remove the landing page.  Should I create them a username in word press and allow them to log in to WordPress and click visit site or is there a better option?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Generally that's the right idea. The holding page is visible to all users unless they're logged in. Logged in users get to see the full site. Several plugins allow you to do this. Just do a search for Maintenance Mode plugins.
