Piont domain to external time server

Hey all.

We are deploying an external time server for a domain.  So far, I know that by pointing the PDC to the time server should so the trick.

Do you have a preferred method of doing this?

Thank you,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No real trick.  Just update the PDCe role holder to the external server.  Or if you are using a device to set the PDCe time, you just need to change the PDCe stratum so other servers see it as authoritative.  But either way, it is standard procedure.

Please follow my below article and run first set of command on the PDC server and you are done.
