Exchange 2007 - Outlook 2010: User saying email from the past 3 months are gone
I tried running a search on their inbox but don't see anything there.
I checked Mail Retention policies and size quota. Nothing there that would trigger this.
Is there any Windows or Exchange server logs which would show how these emails were deleted? The user is syncing emails with both an Android and iPhone so maybe some settings on those phones removed the emails?

Check the settings they're using on their phone/tablet devices. They might have inadvertently left the setting on to delete the email from the server after synchronizing.

They archived onto their laptop... that was all! Is there anything in Exchange that logs when a user archives their mailbox?
