Excel formula for calculating annualized return for index with annual inputs

I have annual returns for indexes from years 1972 through 2017 and a cumulative annaulized return through 2016. I need to calculate annualized return through 2017 with this last input and forgot the correct formula in excel. Also, same question with same inputs for standard deviation in excel.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

and
=STDEV.P(A1:A30)*SQRT(COUNT(A1:A30))
