Brand new XBOX 1X 4K and Brand new Samsung MU8000 work together fine but.....

when I throw a YAMAHA RX-V379 receiver  into the mix and have it like this

{XBOX 1X}<-------->{YAMAHA RX-V379}<------------>{SAMSUNG MU8000 4K TV} I get static and lines on the screen .

If it is configured without  the {YAMAHA RX-V379} like this

{XBOX 1X}<-------->{SAMSUNG MU8000 4K TV} it works fine with no static and not lines on the screen , it is perfect

so I know it is the YAMAHA RX-V379 but how to test or further analyize this issue I am stuck

What are you using to connect YAMAHA RX-V379 to SAMSUNG MU8000 4K TV? A normal HDMI cable?

Have you tried swapping the HDMI cables or trying completely different ones?  For example, try the cable you were using between the yamaha and the samsung to connect the samsung tv directly to the xbox.

Do you have a DVD player or something else you can try connecting through the YAMAHA RX-V379 as well?

I attached a picture of the back of the YAMAHA RX-V379 mainly for my own reference since I don't have one.
