I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is not something which can be given with few lines of codes. Even if we do, and if you don't quite understand the rationale behind it, it is probably of no good use anyway.

In my strictly personal opinion, you are better of doing some online course on MVC which will give you a good idea and then you can try whatever you want to achieve.

Courses are available at many sites absolutely FREE of cost.

https://www.edx.org/course/design-and-mvc-application

https://mva.microsoft.com

Search in YouTube.

Also, why are you using a trial version of Visual Studio when a professional edition is available absolutely FREE which is called 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition'.

and then there's already a template for ASP.NET MVC in VS you could create.

basically, you need to:
-create the models (classes), imagine what you and to save/show in your web front
-create the views (in general html, cshtml, etc), so that to show the output as HTML
-create the controllers (application logics) so that you can do validations and programming stuffs before you showing your output as HTML

I would suggest you break your points into several questions so that Experts may have quicker time to solve the issues
