We have 2 domains (on different sites) using Outlook 365, I need to find who has a specific email address.

We are using Azure AD connect. Anyone know an easy way?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Who has a specific address where, in O365 or on-prem? It's easy to find it via the Get-Recipient cmdlet:

Get-Recipient user@domain.com

but that requires Exchange. If you need the on-prem object and you dont have Exchange on-prem, use the AD cmdlets:

Get-ADUser -Filter "proxyAddresses -like '*user@domain.com'"

Note the trailing *, it's added to cover all address variations (SMTP, smtp, SIP, etc).
