"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you can use c# to write a standalone program and configure it as a scheduled task or code it with similar way using c# in ssis.

both are feasible approaches

write your own SQL Script and save it as a "job" that can be scheduled

more accurately, write and test the script, save it.
use SQL Server Agent and create a job
add your code as a job step https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/agent/create-a-transact-sql-job-step

But first have a read of : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/agent/schedule-a-job
