Microsoft Access packaging software

We send out the database we use to other Animal Protection agencies and I need to update our packaging software.

We have been using Sagekey, but the upgrade is expensive.   I have also used Peter's Keyed Access, but it was a bit difficult.

What packaging software would EE recommend?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I use SSE Setup, I had to ask a bunch of questions the first time I used it, but the author was very helpful and responded quickly.  After the first time, I never had to contact him again.

I use Advanced Installer. I use the Professional version, but the free edition will generally do what you want.

Note that with ANY installer other than Sagekey you're going to have to do some work. Sagekey is Access-specific, so it takes care of many things that others do not.

I am using SamLogic Visual Installer.  It was confusing at first but once someone sent me a sample they built, I was able to modify it.  One thing it doesn't do is create empty directories.  But I'm sure there is a trick if I dig deep enough.

Decided to stick with Sagekey.   Simpler.  Thanks for the advice.
