Using PowerPoint Slide as SharePoint page content

I have a PowerPoint slide with hyperlinks that I want to use as a SharePoint homepage.  Is there anyway to upload this slide and maintain the hyperlinks.  I am not code savvy.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Catherine, Welcome to EE!

I'm assuming you're using SharePoint Online. If not let me know and I'll post new guidance.

It's easy to display Powerpoints in SharePoint using the File Viewer web part (or Page Viewer WP in older versions).

1. Create a new Powerpoint with just the slide you want to display.

2. Upload this to a library in the SharePoint site you'd like to use it.

3. Create a new page to display the slide. You'll see a + icon which allows you to add web parts. Click that.

add wp
4. Now click to add the File Viewer Web Part

file viewer
5. Recently uploaded files are suggested for the viewer. Click the name of the presentation file you just uploaded.

6. Voila! The slide is displayed in the web part on the page and the hyperlinks are clickable.
