Send Cookies in SSL

Hello Experts,
Below is my line of code in web.config file.  I have been asked to send the Cookies in SSL.  What should I do?

Many thanks in advance.

    <sessionState mode="InProc"
                              stateConnectionString="tcpip=xxx.x.0.1:42424"
                              sqlConnectionString="data source=xxx.x.0.1;
                              user id=sa;password="
                              cookieless="false" timeout="300" />

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If your site uses SSL/TLS to create a secure HTTPS connection, then everything you send will be encrypted in the transmission.  There is no method to send just the cookies with SSL/TLS because they are part of the headers exchanged between the browser and the server when a page is requested.

Just a comment: Don't use sa for your database connection. Use an explicit application user.
