REST API in a hybrid configuration

Has someone  good experience with the REST API of Exchange Online in a hybrid configuration? A devolpment team wants to build a solution based on the REST API but we are running Exchange 2010. REST API is not supporter in Exchange 2010. Based on this article we think it is possible but we are curious to your experience!

Kind regards,

In the link you posted the criteria hardware wise and software wise(patch level) are clearly outlined.

I used to work with a really good developer and he had a lot of ideas for using this with a CRM bespoke system we had, such as sending reminders to users for sales leads etc. He had some very interesting ideas on this. I like the functionality.

I would make sure your autodiscover and what not are setup perfectly before doing this.

hybrid config is limited to access onpremise and online mailbox authentication with modern auth (REST API)

I am not sure why you have kept exchange 2010 in between

As far as I know you need to concentrate on Azure AD Oauth (graph api) which should directly talk between apps, onpremise ad and azure Ad with the help of Azure Ad connect

Again, am not coder, some developer would help here if you change your topics to programming / coding etc
