I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Windows Hello for business, which is what you need for domain joined machines, needs an infrastructure to support it. It needs to store the keys somewhere that an administrator can retrieve them if need be (which is a valid assumption given that the machine is domain joined.)  There are several supported ways of getting there, but SBS 2008 alone can't do it no matter what.  If your infrastructure is that old, you won't be able to use Hello (for Business.)
