Azure Windows 7 Map Drive Failure

Hi Guys,

we have about 40 pc's using windows 7 at the moment and trying to map them to a storage drive keeps failing (access denied) I have read on numerous sites that this is because windows 7 only supports SMB 2 and Windows 8/10 server 12/16 Support SMB 3

Anyone gotten around this, not sure how to map users to the storage account on azure now ?
