Hyper-V Partition Setup Questions

What's the best way to partition the Hyper-V host install?  Can I setup the HOST with one partition for the operating system and one partition for the data for the VM's?

What's the best way to partition the Hyper-V guest VM's?  Should I setup the GUEST operating systems with separate partitions for the operating system and data?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

if you are thinking or Hyper-V server standalone free product you could put it on a USB drive/sd card and use the hard drives simply for DATA..
For guest OS's as for physical OS's installs I recommend one drive for OS and another physical drive or drives for data
