I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

I guess it depends on webmail. Which webmail do you have?
If there is no option within webmail then you need Outlook, or some other email client to be able to do it.

Ivan.

Ivan is right, depends on webmail you are using.

How to backup Webmail to local pst

Since you want to backup your webmail account to a PST file, have to assume that you have Outlook installed on your system since PST files are proprietary to Outlook (unless you're planning to use a PST viewer).

If that's the case, one solution would be to simply add the email account to the Outlook profile and then export the <root> folder for that account to a PST file making sure to check the box for "include sub-folders"
