This should be easy:  Install Operating system and Service pack which is suitable for SQL Server 2017. What is your current OS and SP?

These requirements are described, e.g. here: https://datacompute.in/sql-server-2017-windows-system-requirements/

Click on the link, follow the instructions.

It's possible that you have not the latest .NET framework. But from the screenshot (Aero theme) I guess you're on Windows 7, which is not supported by SQL Server 2017. You need at least Win 10 64bit

I have windows 7. What is the SQL server version good for Windows 7?
Active Protection takes the fight to cryptojacking

Install SQL Server 2016 or any older version.  Just remember support of W7 and older SQL Server versions will end soon.

Hi Mohammed,

did you install the SQL Server already? If yes, then you could close the question. Of course, we are here to clarify the details if the installation is still not successful.
